High performance research

We want New Zealand’s most talented athletes to be identified and developed, and to win on the world stage. To help achieve this, recent research includes the following.

High Performance Sports Officials Survey Report

Sport New Zealand engaged PS Services to research the types and levels of demands that high performance/international sports officials face, and the support available to them. The research began with a focus group involving eight international officials from a range of sports. A self-completion survey was then posted to 222 officials and 41 national sports organisations. Three sports also took part in mini-case studies to give more in-depth insights. The report is divided into the five sections below to make it easier to download:
