People Management

People Management is a guide for leaders who wish to incorporate human resource management ‘best practice’ into their organisation.   The guide is designed to provide practical and general advice on a range of people management issues. 

It has been fully updated with the changes to the Employment Relations Act and Holiday Act which came into effect on 1st April 2011.  To allow you to easily customise the forms and templates in the guide, they are available in Word versions.

Please note that although this guide has been developed to assist you with your people management processes, it is a guideline only and should not be used as a substitute for professional or legal advice.

The purpose of this guide is to provide a framework for sport organisations in developing and marketing valuable sponsorship programmes.

Health and Safety

The Health and Safety toolkit is designed to assist managers to meet their obligations under the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992, the Health and Safety in Employment Amendment Act 2002, and associated legislation.

It will also help you set up new health and safety policies and procedures (or review your existing policies and procedures).
