Selwyn District
The purpose of this fund is to advance funds to recreational and cultural organisations for the provision of essential capital assets.
Selwyn District - Ellesmere, Malvern, Selwyn Central and Springs.
Funds are provided to groups and individuals undertaking projects of benefit to the community.
North Shore
To promote Youth Leadership and Initiative within the North Shore Community by creating opportunities through collaboration and financial assistance - Youth Supporting Youth.
The Hillary Medals will be offered on an annual basis to students currently on the Sir Edmund Hillary Programme, who will be completing their degree in the year of application.
To foster sport in Otago by helping fund potential champions as they go about their aims of winning national titles, or representing New Zealand. All sports and their potential elite are eligible for funding, including disabled.
This year Skills Active is offering a scholarship of $5,000 to a male or female athlete of Maori descent (aged from 17 to U/20).

Sport NZ Hillary Expedition will encourage people to see outdoor recreational activities as innovative, inspirational, and exciting. Sport NZ Hillary Expedition adventurers will encourage Kiwis to set their sights high, dream big dreams and inspire them to embark on a lifetime of physical recreation.

The Rural Travel Fund is designed to help subsidise travel for junior teams participating in local sport competition. The allocation of the fund is based on a population density formula for territorial authorities that have fewer than 10 people per square kilometre.
