    The Adastra Foundation Trustees have recently reviewed their criteria for awarding scholarships and have agreed on a number of significant changes.

  • Ahaura Grey Valley Lions Club INC

    Buller

    To take an active interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community.

  • Aimes Awards

    To provide scholarship grants each year to deserving young people of the North Harbour region.

  • Air Rescue Services Ltd

    Canterbury, West Coast, Otago and Marlborough regions.

    To assist in the provision and development of rescue and medical equipment operated by the Canterbury West Coast Air Rescue Trust. Includes, but not limited to, the provision of winch training and helicopter expenses, also donations to bona fide charitable, educational, sport, cultural and community organisations within the local community. Excludes payments to professional sports people.

  • Albert Daniel Hally Trust

    MacKenzie ; Timaru ; Waimate ; Waitaki - South Canterbury limited to south of the Rangitata river. Waitaki district limited to north of Waitaki river.

    The Trust provides financial support for charitable purposes that will benefit the people of South Canterbury

  • AMP National Scholarships

    The AMP Scholarship Programme rewards those with the courage, passion, determination and commitment to achieve their chosen goal no matter what obstacles lie in their path.

  • Anthony Wilding Scholarship for Prowess in Sport

    The overall purpose of this non profit is to give faith hope and opportunity to individuals of all backgrounds to succeed regardless of circumstances. The charity aims to provide opportunity, and/or the tools required, and/or additional training or help with training, to those of exceptional talents who dreams, hopes and talents could not otherwise be realised due to economics, geographic locations or other such factors. The charity is to raise the well being of, and empower the individual and create equal opportunity for New Zealanders here and abroad.

  • Arthur Wheeler Leedstown Trust - UCOL @ Whanganui

    Available for students enrolled at Whanganui UCOL (Universal College of Learning). Scholarships are awarded to students in recognition of effort and achievement, to assist with financial hardship, or for a combination of circumstances.

  • ASB Community Trust - Learning

    To support projects that facilitate improved educational outcomes for people in our region by adding value to the sector, with a focus on innovative projects and lifelong learning.

  • ASB Community Trust - Recreation and Sport, Rescue Services

    We support organisations that focus on community participation and engagement in recreation.

  • Ashburton District Council Annual Grant Scheme

    Ashburton

    Council welcomes applications from all groups whose project contributes to the well-being of the community.

  • Ashburton Trust Charitable Foundation

    Ashburton

    To distribute funds generated from the gaming machines operated in the Ashburton Licensing Trust outlets to community organisations domiciled within the Ashburton Licensing Trust area.

  • Auckland Communities Foundation

    Manukau and Greater Auckland region.

    To support community development projects within the geographic area of Manukau City.

  • Auckland Council (North) - Large Grants Fund (Recreation)

    Rodney Local Board Area, or the Hibiscus Coast Subdivision of the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board (being within the previous boundaries of the Rodney District Council)

    The Large Grants Recreation Fund provides contestable grants to sports and recreational groups that provide a comprehensive range of services and operate within the Rodney Local Board Area, or the Hibiscus Coast Subdivision of the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board (being within the previous boundaries of the Rodney District Council).

  • Auckland Council (South) - Local Community Grants (Papakura Only)

    Papakura

    This fund provides financial assistance to community groups and not-for-profit organisations that are providing services, projects or activities of benefit to the social and/or cultural wellbeing of the Papakura community.

  • Auckland Council (South) - School Holiday Programme Fund

    Howick, Mangere-Otahuhu, Otara-Papatoetoe, Manurewa, Papakura and Franklin.

    Funding is available to encourage and assist schools and community-based organisations to run school holiday programmes in the Franklin, Howick, Mangere-Otahuhu, Manurewa, Otara-Papatoetoe and Papakura local board areas of Auckland Council.

  • Auckland Softball Foundation Charitable Trust

    Auckland

    It is the primary aim of the Trust to make grants to organisations (including schools or other
    charities)so that the physical well being of pupils and students as well as the public at large
    is enhanced through the playing of softball.
