The Independent Review of Swimming New Zealand is now nearing completion.
The terms of reference for the Review are available on the Swimming New Zealand website, www.swimmingnz.org.nz
To understand the issues and opportunities within the sport, the Working Group has consulted widely receiving over 70 written submissions and undertaken extensive one-on-one interviews with people from within the sport as well as external stakeholders.
In addition the Working Group has reviewed learnings from other sports in New Zealand and other swimming organisations.
The Working Group will present its draft findings and recommendations at meetings throughout New Zealand, 18 – 20 May.
Everyone from the swimming community is invited to attend these meetings. You are welcome to attend the meeting that is most convenient for you. The schedule is:
